GÉPKONTAKT Engineering Office Planner, Manufacturer and Trading Ltd. was the 16th firm (and 2nd Hungarian-owned enterprise) to locate in the Győr Business Park.

The company, founded in 1993 had clients, requiring very high technical and production levels. One of their most successful products is a stem-guide, (produced with a nitride surface treatment), that increases the running performance of diesel engines. The reputation of the company increased with the addition of a complete aluminium die-casting equipment. It was newsworthy that they won the bid to produce the clutch spring axis of the diesel locomotives for the ÖBB Austrian Railway Company. This success gave the company a good professional reputation and opened up additional opportunities. As a result of their constant, successful work in the Austrian market, the company established its new site in the Győr Business Park. Here there is room to enlarge the office and factory hall, which was built with demanding care.

After moving into the Industrial Park in 2002, the business connections with neighbouring companies have also become stronger. One example is that our company now produces several hundred spare parts for NEMAK Ltd. Our small company's small team of well educated workers specializes in the production of unique machine-parts production. We have a lot of experience in CNC machining, and have high standards in regards to our work and the environment. Since 2001 we have been working in accordance to the standards of ISO 9001:2001 Quality Assurance system. GÉPKONTAKT Ltd. constantly uses its profits to purchase the newest CNC controlled high technology. In its factory, being at a European level, all production is done by a CNC controlled lathe and milling work centres.

The company celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2008.
